We helped local craft chocolate-maker Xocolatl de David spread the word about involvement with the traveling pork fest/chef competition Cochon 555. A Willy Wonka-style golden ticket contest was arranged in major tour stops worth two VIP passes to local Cochon 555s.
We promoted the contest through PR and social media outreach in an effort to build awareness of the both Xocolatl de David and Cochon 555 in New York, Boston and Portland. Sasquatch’s results were notable, generating discussion on Twitter and on local food blogospheres. From New York’s Gothamist to Boston’s Citysearch to Eater PDX, the three city campaign resulted in over 60,000 Twitter impressions and placement on popular online publications.
Bars sold out in less than 24 hours in multiple locations, resulting in positive brand perception amongst retailers, leaving the window open for possible sales expansion to New York and Boston.
